The series gives a unique spin on the classic Addams Family tales and follows the titular character after she is expelled from her "normal" school and sent to a school for students with superpowers. Once she arrives at Nevermore Academy, Wednesday makes fast friends and enemies and uncovers a mysterious secret.
Wednesday and the rest of her classmates at Nevermore are high school students ranging from first-year freshmen to upperclassmen. But how old is the cast that portrays these characters IRL? 20-year-old Jenna Ortega stars in the leading role as Wednesday Addams. Born in 2002, the California native’s character is 16 years old during her time at Nevermore Academy.
Catherine Zeta-Jones plays a Nevermore Academy alumni and Wednesday Addams’ mother, Morticia. The Academy Award-winning actress is 66 years old.
Veteran actor Luis Guzmán stars in the role of Wednesday’s dad, the always charming Gomez Addams. He is 66 years old.
According to Vanity Fair, 55-year-old Fred Armisen shaved his head bald to prepare for his role as Wednesday’s uncle Fester.
25-year-old illusionist Victor Dorbantu stars as the hand known as the Addam’s family pet Thing.
Eugene is one of Wednesday’s first friends upon her arrival at Nevermore. Moosa Mostafa, the British actor who plays Eugene, is the youngest cast member at 13.
Enid, portrayed by Emma Myers, is also a student at Nevermore who attempts to befriend Wednesday. She is 20.
Georgie Farmer plays Ajax, a gorgon who can turn people into stone. He is 20 years old.
27-year-old Joy Sunday stars as Bianca, a siren and the undisputed queen of Nevermore Academy. Her relationship with Wednesday starts off rocky, largely due to Bianca’s ex-boyfriend, Xavier’s sudden interest in Wednesday, but they manage to form a respect for one another.
Percy Hynes plays Xavier, a brooding Nevermore student living in his father’s shadow. He takes an immediate interest in Wednesday upon her arrival at Nevermore and reveals that they knew each other as children. The Canadian actor is 21.
23-year-old Naomi J. Ogawa, aka Yoko, is the coolest goth vampire to grace the campus at Nevermore Academy.
