Young Tollywood actor Aadi Sai Kumar starrer Top Gear is an upcoming Telugu thriller film directed and written by K. Shashikanth, who is known for his work in IPC Section 300 and Bahukrita Vesham.
It is the fifth film of Aadi Sai Kumar, the son of actor Sai Kumar, in the calendar year, following Athidi Devo Bhava, Black, Tees Maar Khan, and Crazy Fellow. Aadi starred in successful films such as Lovely, Sukumarudu, Pyar Mein Padipoyane, Shamantakamani, and Operation Gold Fish, etc.
The thriller stars Aadi in the lead role as a taxi driver, with Riya Suman featuring as the female lead. She made her acting debut in the commercially successful 2016 Telugu film Majnu alongside Nani and Anu Emanuel.
She has also appeared in Telugu films Paper Boy and Seeru, as well as in the Tamil movies Malaysia to Amnesia (cameo), Manmadha Leelai, and Agent Kannayiram. The upcoming film, also stars Brahmaji, Satyam Rajesh, Mime Gopi, Narra, Sattru, Benarjee, Chammak Chandra, and Radio Mirchi Hemath in pivotal roles.
The teaser of the film was launched by filmmaker Maruthi in the presence of the cast and crew. It starts with Aadi driving a car, and then the next scenes introduce several crucial characters in the film. A voice-over claims that even Lord Vishnu couldn’t escape his destiny and that the protagonist too will meet his end at the hands of the antagonists in the film.
The car takes us through various parts of the city, and the lead character receives the shock when a passenger threatens to kill him. Further, it shows police chasing his car. Overall, the trailer is slick with appealing visuals and has a catchy BGM.

Top Gear is a thriller that unfolds over a road trip and is bankrolled by KV Sreedhar Reddy under the banner of M/s. Sri Dhanalakshmi Productions and presented by Aditya Movies and Entertainments.
On the technical front, the film has Harshavardhan Rameshwar as music composer, Sai Sriram as cinematographer, and Prawin Pudi as editor. Giridhar Mamidipally serves as the executive producer.
