Odd Taxi: In The Woods is getting close to its release, so the creators recently released a new P.V. trailer for the movie.
OLM and P.I.C.S.’s Odd Taxi is a popular anime series based on a Japanese manga of the same name. The first season of the Odd Taxi’s anime adaptation premiered last year in April. The story follows the journey of Odokawa, a Walrus taxi driver, in a fictional world of anthropomorphic animals. In the first season, Odakawa finds himself in trouble when he tries to uncover the location of a missing girl.
The unusual storytelling, incredible voice acting, and grounded animation grabbed the attention of anime fans. Hardcore anime fans loved what Odd Taxi had to offer, and it is still considered one of the most underrated anime series of 2021. Fortunately, season 1 of Odd Taxi isn’t the end of Odokawa’s journey, as the creators announced the “Odd Taxi In the Woods” movie in December 2021.
OLM and P.I.C.S. will release Odd Taxi In the Woods in Japan on April 1, 2022. And since we are close to the movie’s release, the animation studio has given us a brand new trailer for the movie. The new trailer gives us a better look at all the main characters who’ll appear in the film, including Odokawa. Here you go; take a good look at the trailer yourself:
Every anime fan who has watched the first season of Odd Taxi would not want to miss the upcoming movie. But unfortunately, the anime movie doesn’t have an international release date as of yet.
The production houses will probably release the film in other parts of the world after its theatrical run is over in Japan. Also, the movie’s performance in Japan will determine if the movie will get an international release.
