We’re not letting anything come between you and Hessa.
Imagine this: you’re sitting down with a huge tub of popcorn, getting ready to snuggle under the covers for the ultimate movie night, when all of sudden you realize your favorite movie isn’t on Netflix anymore! Well, that’s exactly the feeling

After fans will experience now that the streaming giant is getting rid of the first film in the series.
Why exactly is this happening? Is there someone at Netflix who hates Hessa? Is Mercury still in retrograde?! We might never know the answer, but we can find other ways to watch our favorite romance movie over and over again. So don’t worry; you’ll be watching After again soon enough!
Here are all the ways to watch After now that it’s off Netflix.
Yeah, sorry to be the one to break the news to you, but After was officially removed from Netflix on October 8, 2022 (aka…today). There’s no word on whether or not any of the other series movies will be following suit or if this will affect the fourth film, After Ever Happy, from going to Netflix. Everyone cross fingers or knock on some wood that it doesn’t!
While it might no longer be on Netflix, After is still available online for a rewatch. The most obvious option would be streaming it on another platform, but you’ll have to pay to either own or rent the film. If you’re cool with that, you can find the movie on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, YouTube, Google Play, and Vudu.
This would also be a great time to start your own After movie collection! The movie is available on both DVD and Blu-ray—which actually also comes with a DVD and digital version included—so you don’t have to sweat streaming service contract changes ever again.
Unfortunately, we don’t know the answer to that. But we’re hoping it won’t be gone for long, as we *have* seen things leave and come back in the past. (We’re looking at you Criminal Minds.) For now though, at least fans can always re-read the books or buy the movies (After We Collided, After We Fell, and After Ever Happy are also available to own). Here’s to watching Hessa’s love story without having to hunt it down online!
